Ticket Types and Information
This year we have two different tickets: IN PERSON & VIRTUAL.
All tickets cost $60 and include the Keynote Presentation, 2 live workshops on January 20, and access to recordings of all 13 workshops for 6 months. In Person tickets also include lunch.
IN PERSON
In person participants will spend their training day at Floris UMC where they will experience being together in the room where it happens with workshop speakers and other participants. Lunch will be provided.
We have capped In Person registration at 200 and we expect to sell out so register TODAY!
Early-Bird pricing ($40!) is available until December 20!
In Person tickets will only be sold until January 10 and will NOT be sold at the door.
VIRTUAL
Virtual participants may select one of three 10:15 a.m. workshops and one of three 1:00 p.m. workshops to attend online January 20.
Please note that our Kids' Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Korean language tracks will not be streamed--participants desiring those sessions will need to purchase an in person ticket to attend those workshops on January 20.
Four or more virtual participants meeting together as a team may take advantage of our Team Pricing of $50 each. All team members will be registered for the same workshops. Learn more about team pricing below.
Team Information
VIRTUAL
Our team discount is intended to offer virtual participants the chance to gather and experience Training Day together in a shared space on January 20.
If you plan to gather a team of 4 or more at your church or location to participate in Training Day virtually, you can use the Team Pricing option when you select your Virtual Ticket. Simply enter the number of team members and use the Add to Cart button. The discount will automatically apply making each ticket $50. The purchaser will then select a morning and afternoon workshop on behalf of the whole team. Virtual participants do not have access to the Youth Ministry, Kids Ministry, or Korean Language workshops on January 20.
*One person registers on behalf of the entire virtual team.
IN PERSON
We do encourage groups to attend the event together in person. In Person team members will have the option to select from all available workshops during registration and each team member may select his or her own workshops. In Person teams are encouraged to take advantage of the in person early-bird discounted ticket price available until December 20.
*In Person team members must each register individually in order to select and secure a seat in their chosen workshop classrooms.

FAQs
Why are In Person tickets capped at 200?This is our first-ever hybrid training day and we are SO excited to offer BOTH in person and virtual options. Due to classroom space limitations as well as the amount of work and manpower required to run two events simultaneously, we capped this year's in person registration number at 200. We have unlimited space virtually, so if our In Person tickets run out, we can still provide training day to a multitude of other participants.
Why are my Virtual ticket options limited?
This is our first-ever hybrid training day and we want to make sure that all participants have the BEST experience possible. It requires quite a bit of Internet bandwidth and equipment to stream multiple sessions simultaneously, so we opted to only stream three workshops at a time. We plan to record all 13 sessions and make those available through the event platform for all ticket holders beginning on January 21.
Why are the Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Korean Language workshops only available to In Person ticketholders?
We want to provide all participants the best experience possible and are unable to stream all sessions live due to equipment and Internet bandwidth concerns. We also wanted to offer those sets of participants (Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, Korean Language) the opportunity to gather together for Training Day in order to share ideas and conversation in person. We plan to record all 13 sessions and make those available through the event platform for all ticket holders beginning on January 21.
Why is the system saying I am already registered?
This event platform ties tickets to individual email addresses and logs the purchaser into the system upon purchase. So, if a person has already purchased one ticket and tries to purchase another they may get caught in a loop. There are several different ways to get out of this loop.
- First, be sure that you are logged out. (At the top right hand corner of the website next to the Register button you will find three small green dots (...). Clicking on those dots will bring up your purchaser menu where you can log out. Once you are logged out, you should be able to purchase another ticket using a different email address.
- Another option is to use a different browser to purchase the next ticket. For example, if you purchased a ticket using Chrome and desire to purchase a second ticket, switching to Firefox or Edge should allow you to do so, as you will not be logged in using that browser.
- Persons who begin the registration process and enter their email address but then abandon the cart before completing the purchase may be asked to check their email for a link when they return to the site to finish the purchase. Because tickets are tied to email addresses, once you are in the system, the system wants to confirm that you are indeed you. It will send you a magic link via email with a Sign In button. Simply use that button and you should be taken back to the event site in order to complete your purchase.
What if I want to register multiple people at one time?
- Virtual participants can take advantage of Team Pricing ($50/ticket for 4 or more participants) by using the Team Pricing option on the ticket purchase screen. Simply use the second Add to Cart button in the Virtual Ticket box and use the + to select the number of tickets you'd like to purchase. On the next screen you will select your 10:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. workshop on behalf of your entire team. On the next screen you will have the option to provide the Name and Email Address for each ticket holder. Then you will proceed to payment. If you do not know the email addresses of your team members at the time of registration they can be added at a later time through the My Purchases section of the website.
- In Person teams are WELCOME to participate together at Floris on January 20. Because each In Person ticket is directly tied to seating in workshop classrooms, all In Person team members must register separately. One person can register on their behalf, one ticket at a time, but will need to know the in person team member's email address and workshop choice in order to do so. Please also pay attention to the above FAQ item, as purchasing multiple single In Person tickets back-to-back requires logging out of the system each time. We encourage In Person team members to take advantage of Early-Bird pricing for discounted tickets.
Can I mail in my registration?
All registrations must be made online. If you need assistance registering you can use the information below for assistance.
What if I need help?
- During the registration process, if you run into difficulties or need help registering you can email or call our administrator, Sarah Allen who can walk you through the process. [email protected] or (703) 820-7200.
- If you have questions about the workshops or the event itself, you can email [email protected].
